What makes you believe he will stop backing Israel unconditionally if he gets re-elected? That basically sends the message that genocide is either supported or tolerated by his base. So whats the incentive to change that course of action if it has no negative consequence?
I haven't said I believe that and I'm not sure what you think the outcome of this conversation is going to be. Wrong as I believe Biden to be on this issue, I don't think electing his opponent will improve things for Gaza.

No. It is dead. This is the evidence that Americans have no political power that the ruling class feels bound to pay attention to. That's not an existential crisis. It's a crisis.
Democratic norms for whom? The 350k people in prison - a 3rd of whom are black and poor? The native communities left starving in destitution on reservations? The millions of people drowning in debt, or who can’t access basic medical care? The migrants still being imprisoned at the border?
I don't think any of those people's situation would be improved by a Trump presidency; do you? I absolutely agree millions of people in the US deserve better. I don't think electing Trump will help them.
Neither will electing Biden - who has demonstrated over and over that he is only willing to be pushed *to the right* on issues of immigration, foreign policy, and policing/mass incarceration. Which is why I’m not voting for either of them.
