The A- I got in philosophy in my MA year was very much a Pity A-. And I'm fine with that! (Mostly.)

my GRE scores were pretty mediocre; I was burnt out from work and couldn't be bothered to review the test material. (everything from jr high onwards was actually-terrible, not just terrible-for-bluesky; yay undiagnosed and untreated ADHD)
