What I seriously don't get is the fact that Elon himself was, at one time, an illegal immigrant bcz he had overstayed his student visa, right?
So whom did he "replace?"
I’m so glad I made the move off of that platform. I think I’d been on it since 2008 or 2009, but it’s now apparently much worse of a cesspool than it had ever been previously.
The GOP is giving Musk the MyPillow Guy treatment, agreeing with all his nonsense and probably letting him think he can be Governor somewhere while they extract millions from him, but his ego and additions won't let him see it. "genius" he is not.
You touched on this, but it says a lot about how they view their own party that they believe that socially conservative immigrants fleeing "socialist" countries would vote Democratic in such a large percentage as to give the Democratic party a permanent majority.
"The immigrant vote is not monolithic" is both true and widely ignored. I was reminded of this when a Latinx student I was mentoring expressed her interest in working at AEI, noted that she supported DT, and would be volunteering for central CA GOP congressman.
A large portion of the community is politically, economically, socially conservative. Many of them still vote R, and many who vote D *would* vote R if the Rs weren't responsible for deporting a loved one. The Rs are shooting themselves in the foot.
For a supposed genius he thinks a lot of dumb things.
Could it be that he’s not really a genius and there’s no justification for any single human to suck that much wealth out of the other 90% of humanity?
Nah…
