also and I feel like I buried the lede here: it calls for the people who CREATE queer media to be imprisoned. That'd be people like me. Or any other queer creator you love. Any queen who's been on drag race. Chappel Roan. Janelle Monae. Anyone who's made a piece of queer media. Imprisoned.

Psst: Project 2025 is terrifying for a lot of reasons but also because on page 5 it calls for teachers and librarians who grant access to books that are maligned as pornography (which just means anything LGBTQ) to be registered as sex offenders. Pass it on.

I know people who've bailed since there's nothing they feel legally safe saying, or because it's too much If socmed is making you anxious, I suggest cuddling family or pets, reading a book, watching a movie, etc. As is true every day, tomorrow is best faced by being as rested and well as possible.

Social media has an observable survivorship-bias happening currently: We are seeing the people who haven't logged off and Are Posting Through It. Many people I respect are still here + saying good/useful/clear things... ..but it's NOT in your head, the internet weather HAS changed for the moment.

Haha, I was struggling with drawing for a bit then I thought of drawing a picture for Kaveh's birthday. Alas, not done yet but at least it's nice progress after being stuck for a while. :)

Trying to find my local comic book shop after they moved was a challenge. The new shop has less footage space and is in a literal alley but oh boy, it's so great being in there. (I'm just glad they're still close by my house despite the moves they've had over the years!!)
