Please I'm begging you, watch Star Trek: Prodigy on Netflix. It's not really putting up the numbers it needs for a third season, and it really deserves it and children deserve a show like it

Not surprising, but the same people who were like, "do your own research" and "read the transcript" are now denying Project 2025 exists

I hate the whole thing about people voting for "who'd I'd like to drink a beer with" and think it's immature and banal but, come on, surely if it came down to it, Biden would be more fun to drink with? You could talk about trains with him. Chugga chugga choo choo

I regret to inform you that the new Stonewall Visitor's Center is terrible. This is the sum total of what it has to say about the riots.

"These updates build upon our continued efforts to keep Etsy and our community safe," Oh did the site get rid of all hate speech and symbols, then? :looks: No, no they did not.

Today I got to touch (and hold) horseshoe crabs. A+ highly recommend. (But don't ever pick them up by the tail because you're likely to kill them.)

It's depressing that sites currently have to make a choice between being SEO-friendly or being something people actually want to read. You'd think these would be the same thing but no, SEO is all about making a site *machines* want to read and then may deign to show to actual humans.

Three years of Bridgerton and we still don't have a good non-academic nonfiction book about 19th century pamphlet culture, but maybe I'm overestimating the size of the audience But I'd read it

Sometimes I remember that the majority of mail that Highlights magazine gets is from girls, but they split the letters page 50/50 because they don't want to hurt boys' feelings or have anyone thinking Highlights is a girls' magazine, and I just get a mix of angry and depressed

I was busy today, but my take on congestion pricing being shelved is that it was a policy that was supported by the majority, many of whom actually turned out to support it, and I hope someone gets a lawsuit off the ground to get it back. Multiple lawsuits. Sooooo many lawsuits

I'm deeply offended by the formatting of this assignment, never mind the content.

For whatever reason I started thinking about every publication/site that I've ever written for. So here's a list: • IDC (student pub, HS) • Medium Cool (student pub, college) • Comic Book E-Mag (newsletter) • Tsunami (student pub, college) • Kakumei (fanzine) • Anime News Network (web)

Who cares when Furiosa is set—the important thing is that Mad Max is the only post-apocalyptic franchise that consistently cares about where its characters get their gas/petrol

Just a reminder that if the country that did apartheid calls it apartheid then it's probably apartheid
they’re now talking about Palestine and complaining that the word “apartheid” is used incorrectly because “it’s what was happening in South Africa, not a general word”
