With all the comic news yesterday I feel like this got ignored. Larry Hama has been struggling with medical problems and, from what I’ve gathered, still really depends on gigs to survive financially. His ability to draw is being taken away. He’s a living legend and badass. Deserves better.

The galaxy falling back under the thrall of the Empire used to feel like the weakest aspect of the Disney sequels but now they feel like the most realistic. It wouldn’t even have taken 30 years, give it just 4 and the Star Wars news-anchors would be asking, how can Palpatine win the debate this week

After 24 years of hard service, trying out a new bread machine. Will it work? The old one was still working but starting to show trouble. The tension is so thick, I could cut it with a bread knife.

Not counting one hit wonders (like Looking Glass) always strange to me how some bands just have one song that I like from them. Often times, I don't even remember how I came to know that song.

One of the most stirring experiences of my life was visiting the Uffizi Gallery in Florence - you see these incredible works of sculpture by Michelangelo and you just stand there in awe and think "how did a turtle do this"
