obsessed w figuring out who traumatized the prototypical suburban man who canāt sleep past seven and makes it everyone elseās problem at nine am on the dot
We used to live across the street from a public tennis court and a few times a year they would have to regravel it I think. And The noise ordinance in our city technically it's 7:00 a.m. and they would start on the dot.
oh man, i feel for you. my last cityās noise ordinance was 7a to 10p! they were constantly jack hammering electrical poles to the point where i was finishing my dissertation thinking, āsurely someone hired these people to ensure i donāt finishā šš„²
I'm having that dilemma right now, because we're 5 minutes from 9am, the front lawn needs to be mowed, it is currently 82 degrees outside, and I know if I wait one more hour it will go up by another 9-10 degrees... I don't want to be THAT neighbor, but I also don't want to sweat that much.
Iām with a bunch of friends right now and I woke up at 5:30 on the dot and immediately started banging around making coffee, everyone else is still asleep and will be for hours yet
ahah, did you start making noise to wake them bc you canāt stand to be alone?? (youāre now the stand in for all noise making, early rising men, congrats)
