He still owes half a billion in civil judgements. Doesn't change that. And his NY conviction is state and also not connected to official acts. The federal trials might get fucked up tho.
He will use this ruling to try to get the NY criminal conviction set aside. NY appellate courts have already signaled that the civil fraud will be more like ~$150m, which he can afford.
