I think it’s hilarious to arrive late, at like 3 or 4, and still say “good morning”.
Also, I think the intended meaning of the phrase is more about well-wishing and greeting than the time it is said. For instance, if you say good morning, are you implying that your well-wishes end at 12 (or 10:30)?
