The personal ties between right-wing SCOTUS justices and the sleaziest, bottom-of-the-barrel (Trump-pardoned) criminals should by itself be the SCOTUS scandal of the century.
I wonder if we're all so jaded that there ARE no 'scandals of the century' any more. I've been hearing nothing but a constant barrage of "Oh, Trump's really stepped in it THIS time!" since 2016 - and the mother****er always seems to dodge the consequences of his own shitty behaviour...
I think there is a special carve out for Donald Trump on these types of issues. I do think we are jaded, but I also think most candidates of both stripes would have been long sunk-or in jail-if they behaved as he does.
