Honestly it was so awful that I had a sneaking suspicion JLo wrote and directed the whole thing because of the ... aura/focus on her character('s scenery chewing) & sheer stupidity of all of the other non-AI characters. Plus the "dialogue" and "sciencing" 🤦🏻‍♀️

I haven't read your review yet. But, after watching it the other night, my first thought was that was the worst combination of script and direction since "Day After Tomorrow." Just an awful film.

Ouch. Your review was even harsher. I was probably more forgiving of J. Lo's performance b/c the script was so bad (and I've always wanted her to succeed in acting since I saw "Out of Sight").

Out of Sight, very cool film. I'm due for a rewatch

I watched it recently and once again wondered why she’s never worked with SS again. She is so, so good in that role

Approximating intelligence as well as AI approximates reality. Sounds painful. I think Mission to Mars was the name of the biggest travesty I ever saw. I was plus one to a company showing. It was terrible. The science was so bad, even I saw it. I suck at it. Long dramatic scenes floating together.

Looks like I dodged a bullet by not watching it last night.
