I am currently the envy of transit nerds around the world Riding the monorail of Wuppertal

Do transit nerds like it for anything else than being rare? When I had to take it it was not very pleasant and pretty narrow compared to a normal german tram or subway

Functionally, not particularly, but due to the rarity and just the coolness factor, suspended over the water

Also because it's the OG monorail system.

As far as I know. It's the oldest still in operation, at least.
