love it, got friends living there and we go on the monorail often. a more accurate but awkward description of it would be "suspension railway" but whoever says that haha
Visited there last summer and had a wonderful time! The view from inside the Schwebebahn has its moments. There's also a great sculpture garden in Wuppertal!
Do transit nerds like it for anything else than being rare?
When I had to take it it was not very pleasant and pretty narrow compared to a normal german tram or subway
I don't have access to that device right now, and I had more scenic images, but here's what I put on Instagram. I learned about the Wuppertal Monorail doing research on this one. This one goes through the trees and is a lovely 1-mile ride. It only stops at the ends.
