FWIW in case you are confused
It's possible that Biden is a terrible choice as candidate and also that him dropping out is a worse choice.
Those two things are not mutually exclusive, in fact, they're true.
Thanks. Fucking vote for Biden, please, so we can have a chance at staving off fascism.
Seems like that $4m could have been used to keep Walman, or go after a significant upgrade on the blueline, or hold some spending money for the deadline if you're in the playoff picture.
So C+ overall b/c you signed Tarasenko after Kane, and F---------- for signing Kane in the first place #LGRW
Also my head cannon is Tarasenko saw the footage of Pav at development camp and was seduced to come to Detroit by the image of The Magic Man once again in the Winged Wheel #LGRW
Okay, in a vacuum, Tarasenko is a B+ signing
-32 years old, still should be rubber on those tires. 2 years, you're protected from a sharp decline or bad injury
-Still a solid goal scorer and point producer, which Detroit needs
-AAV is maybe a bit higher than I'd like but dude JUST won Cup x2
2A People: "We need to have unlimited guns. In case the government becomes tyrannical"
The Supreme Court just said the president can do whatever they want without facing consequences
"Well no, we meant if like... Black people can vote or live in the same neighborhood as us"
Constitution: Even impeached officials are subject to criminal indictment, trial, judgment, and punishment.
Roberts court: But, I mean, not the president, right?
Constitution: That's not what I said.
Roberts: But surely, it's what you meant.
Constitution: No. And don't call me Shirley.
Constitution: People involved in insurrections should not be President.
Roberts court:...hmm, no, I don't see it.
Constitution:....
Roberts court: but the president should have immunity for crimes
Selfishly, if the President is immune to crimes associated with their duties, Biden should order the immediate forgiveness of all student loan debt in defiance of Congress and the Court and issue a preemptive pardon to all federal employees involved in executing his order
In case you're not sure what is included in the 20th century...
-Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment
-The FDIC
-Desegregation and Brown vs. Board
-LGTBQ Rights
-The 19th Fucking Amendment
-Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act
-Clean Air and Clean Water Acts
-Freedom of Information Act
At least some people face consequences
Apparently not his client, who is ground zero for those demonstrably false claims and incited an insurrection based on those false claims. That guy gets total immunity.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration proposed a rule Tuesday outlining steps employers must take to protect indoor and outdoor workers from the risk of heat illness, the first major regulation aimed at preventing heat-related deaths on the job.
I know yesterday was one of the worst days ever for legal jurisprudence in the country but I figure I'd share some good news in that same field.
Colorado has made it so you can't use a victim's hairstyle or clothing as evidence of consent in a sexual crimes trial
Also, law regarding fake electors
Reading a book for grad school, and I came across this line.
Remember a month ago when that one guy was like, "Silent reading is slavery?"
Maybe he was onto something...
Decided awhile back that the month of July, I would lift twice a day on my workout days.
So, arms and chest day. Once this morning, once this afternoon.
According to my watch (which I know are never accurate)... 1320 calories burned.
If I can resist the temptation to consume 3000 calories...
I'm sure there's still stuff being processed at league HQ, but I'd day there's a 50/50 Yzerman is done for the day.
Bet we get a late night/first thing in the morning Mo and/or Raymond deal

Sorry to all my lawyer friends who spent a bunch of time learning how law works in the US. I had friends who were Flash developers and things turned out alright for them after they pivoted to C# or whatever. Hopefully there's an equivalent for our national legal system
