There is an upside down US flag hanging from a house in my neighborhood. I can see it from my yard and it's a reminder of all the horrible things that Trump and Project 2025 will do if he retakes the White House. I'm worried sick for the future, but I'm paying attention and I'm voting.

Project 2025 is a dystopian nightmare. They have been recruiting & training “conservatives” to be ready to enact it on day one of ANY conservative elected as POTUS. I was just thinking... I think Fallout 5 should have 3 main character background archetypes: you can be a ghoul, super mutant, or human. Similar to Cyberpunk 2077 & GTA5. Character creation could be altered with the availability of the FEV or some sort of ghoulification.

Having finished S1, I wish to share some non-spoiler thoughts. As a Fallout fan, I was impressed and captivated the whole time. The show was satisfying but left me wanting to watch more. I will definitely check out the next season when it is ready. I think there is plenty of material to build upon.

I watched the first episode of Fallout on Prime. It left me feeling the very definition of aghast; I felt terror, amazement, and horror at different times. The world & characters were compelling and it was very violent. I think the themes of the FO universe were mostly portrayed pretty well so far.

Willy's Wonderland is my favorite Nic Cage film. That is to say, the horror tropes beside Nicolas' wordless performance made the movie stand out to me as hilarious. I love how he mixed an absurd deadpan act with basic but super-effective fighting skills vs the bloodthirsty animatronics.

We humans destroy the only life we know of in the universe. We haven't been here long based on the Earth's timescale. But we are doing the damage faster now. Biodiversity is down, extinctions are up. I pray for our redemption amid our pollution. And I vote with the future in mind.
