Holy cow did this puff piece backfire! Read the comments on the WaPo page. Not one person fell for this bs, and several have canceled their subscription.

It’s super bizarre to run a whole story about how great these people are with anonymous quotes. If you can’t find people who will say nice things about these people on the record, maybe they shouldn’t get a puff piece about how great they are.
