We setup automatic drip irrigation on our balcony today. We are growing heat loving watermelon 🍉 in our south facing balcony. It is very hot and watering was a challenge.

Home made Doburoku, not bad. Probably 12-14% alcohol. A bit sour, but smooth.

Found my Holbein watercolor pan but I will not bring them to travel as I might lose them. Rather I got an inexpensive water color pan and i will bring it along with oil pastel and Japanese Gansai, watercolor with traditional Japanese color.

i cannot find my water color half pan from Holbein. I am afraid last time i cleaned my art supply box, i might have discarded it 😱

A good use for tomatoes with blossom end rot, is to collect seeds from them. They are genetically identical, just end got rotten due to the lack of calcium and water

We now have global entry card for our 2 year old and 6 year old. I really do not see why DHS requires small children to have same global entry card. Our older one can answer his name at the interview, younger was still a year and half and he just smiled.

This is very true. In open market, the best candidates get picked first, candidates who are in the pool several weeks or month later are there for reason.

I hear lots of talk about how there’s lots of jobs but employers can’t find people to fill them. Pro tip for people hiring: if you take several weeks (or in a couple recent experiences I’ve had, months) to get back to candidates, they’re probably already working or are no longer interested

I first used (T)SQL with Microsoft SQL server around 2006, in order to handle "large" dataset of state voter file as my STATA could not handle it well. I did not have imagination that that is the language I will be using rest of my career. I use pyspark mostly today, but SQL is still the backbone
