I made kosheri once for a Thanksgiving meal, from a vegetarian cookbook that had consecutive recipes for kosheri, kitcheree, and kedgeree. it was pretty decent but I'm pretty sure not nearly this good. OTOH I did not die. (Also I know kedgeree isn't usually vegetarian)
