My husband sent me a picture from Reddit of Nazis carrying their Nazi flag and wearing "Whites Against Replacement" shirts while doing a lil Nazi salute in Tennessee yesterday. I love living in non-racist America where things haven't *been like this* for several centuries.

The anti-Blackness on this site is omnipresent and uncontrolled, and it keeps getting worse. And every time it gets pointed out, white people keep deflecting to another marginalization they experience. But Black people still aren’t safe just being Black here. That’s that on that.

Fuck it, I'm doing it live - i really wish white queer people would stop uniting across class boundaries to harass and exile BIPOC queer people they find annoying* and aggressive** *not submissive enough ** talk too much about racism within queer spaces

i want to complain about a real life issue but it's so close to current Discussions On Here that i just know i'm going to be accused of something silly :/

What I have learned in life is that white people generally do not like to hear about anti-Blackness. If they are also marginalized or left-leaning, they view hearing about racism almost as an insult to their marginalization and progressive ideologies. Idk. Either you get it or you're unwilling.

If I say “anti-Blackness” and your response is “but I’m [marginalized]” you are part of the goddamn problem because I didn’t say shit about your marginalization, I was talking about anti-Blackness!

america teaches us not to empathize w/ blacks at an early age. i know this because it was taught to me as a child — mainstream society is antiblack by default & it takes being black to properly see it; but you dont have to wait on our complaints to fight it: just empathize us as you would w/ others.

it's not that you have to see it happening in order to help... like i dont have to see the hate aimed at my daughter because she's gay in order to empathize with her struggles—i call out homophobia when i see/hear it, rather than waiting for her to tell me. we just need white allies to do the same.

I've always gotten really bad cravings to the point where it's hard for me to eat if it isn't exactly what I want. It's a good thing I've never been pregnant because I think I'd kill a man.
