Tonight’s snack was blueberry lemon cake with lemon curd filling and cream cheese frosting

Two games of Legendary Marvel with hubby and kid2 tonight, a loss then my win. Our play count is now 196. Loki approves. #boardgames

Today Spencer helped me, hubby, and kid2 set off a fireworks display with Hanabi. The chunky tiles of this version are very satisfying. #boardgames

Apparently my mom has never seen Clue so we all immediately got up from the table and went directly to the living room to rent it.

I hear so much about people playing and enjoying Cockroach Poker and I finally got to try it today! The funny thing is that I didn’t know it is all bluffing, which I’m TERRIBLE at 🤣 I still had a ton of fun with friends and everyone had a blast with Hex Hex XL too #boardgames

Tonight was our Akrotiri rematch and I finally won a game. Spencer was very helpful #boardgames

The teens are out of school and summer has started so we’re getting more #boardgames to the table!

We clawed back from a disastrous start of Doctor Who Time of the Daleks to make sure at least one Doctor made it back to Gallifrey in time #boardgames

Friends, it was a beautiful evening for our second outdoor summer concert and we rewarded ourselves on a job well done by stopping at the ice cream stand on the way home. There were real raspberries in the sorbet. Doesn’t get much better than this.

I updated to the new iOS and went to toggle the bigger alt text badge on and noticed my “Require alt text” had turned off. Just an FYI if you want to double check your settings too.

❤️🎶 Today was an amazing day because it was the first time the whole family played together in the same concert (and the weather was beautiful!)

Phew, we just wrapped up hosting our volunteer group’s pot luck/final board meeting. While we will have family over to the house I realized we never throw these kind of gatherings. I was anxious beforehand but everything went well!
