I like the coconut tree memes as much as everyone else but I do think we should all be on the same page about Harris's quote actually making sense when you realize she was telling a story about her mom and illustrating a point about education.

That's the only way I'd experienced it, where it was both v. funny and v. odd, so I appreciate this revelation that it's completely normal and in fact banal.
My daughter and I joke about it off and on. I get the context, even without the context, it's sort of implied what's being said if you think about it. But, it's also just funny to say, "You think you fell out of a coconut tree?"
