I think of "Don’t offer the blood of sacrifices with leavened bread" as the "straight, no chaser" commandment.

What gets me, after all, is how poorly edited it is. Definitely not bullet points from god. More like unprocessed lecture notes.

Heh. But so many parts of the Hebrew Bible are obviously a kludge of northern and southern traditions (in some places, it even alternates every verse).
