The Democratic Party has no good options because they opted to give the public no good options. This is a disaster of their own making and no one has a magic fix for the catastrophe they’ve created. That Trump could be so well positioned is an unthinkable failure of politics.
Losing to Trump should not be politically possible after the events of 2020, and Dem leadership has made it extremely freaking possible. They suck at everything. Let’s name that.
It’s time to lose all West Wing illusions about the thought work of the Democratic Party. They’re not smarter than the leftists who call them out. If they were, we wouldn’t be in this situation.
Ftr I don't know what the best move for the Dems is re: Biden stepping down, and they don't care what people like me think anyway. I am focused on what I know how to do and what I believe we should all be doing with our political energy right now.

for some reason dems have always been suckers for a VP like 80% of their nominees have been VPs its gross and they usually suck oh and lose so lets take that option off the table and maybe dems will have to start thinking ab who they actlly want rather than whos supposedly safe
