You would think that cat medication for would be cheese, fish or liver flavored or otherwise rendered more palatable the way that many dog meds are.

Cat: "Oh I'll happily take medicine that will make me feel better! Right after I grow three more legs with even sharper clawed paws!"

Had a cat with serious heart issues. *HATED* her meds. One day, I held her down on the kitchen counter to make her swallow. When the process is done, she looks up at me with hatred, waits to show me who's in control, walks to the edge and kicks my phone into her water bowl. Nods. Leaves

They do have tiny blood pressure cuffs. But she burst a bunch of blood vessels in her eye. That’s how it started. She’s usually to angry for actual measurements

We've got one of those. We're measuring her recovery by the increasing fight she puts up. OTOH we had a cat that needed daily injections. Every day he got up on the chair and waited patiently for them. He lasted 3 more years.

Cat: I am so old. I simply cannot groom myself anymore Me: Okay, I'll brush all the spots you can't reach Cat: I can reach those spots just fine with my claws

I’ve had to opt for injection only for my cat because she will force herself to throw up any oral medication (thankfully the vet understood because his cat does the same thing!). She literally has NO reaction to shots, but she’ll purge the non-painful oral medication. Such a diva 😭
