i'll say it again, after years of reading English books about rhubarb pie and whatnot I finally saw one and it literally looks like celery contracted scarlet fever the fuck is this

My snobbery: Rhubarb can easily carry a pie by itself whereas strawberry cannot. Strawberry should stick to its lane, which is shortbread, and stop butting into pie.
