They did, it's just not terribly well known. You have to add &udm=14 to the end of your search URL. Or just do your searches from here: udm14.com

On nice, didn't know they made a shortcut for the URL. The problem is you lose some useful features too, like reverse image search (that can also do text OCR).

Yeah, it's not a perfect solution. And it doesn't address the fact that Google search has been lousy for years thanks to aggressive SEO. But it's better than nothing.

honestly, it’s almost not better than nothing. it leaves the people who are not technically savvy cordoned off in awash in misinfo that the savvy can just wash their hands of. it also doesn’t fix the driving traffic to websites issue, they will still see a massive drop bc most users aren’t savvy.
