I dunno, the idea that companies will self-censor to avoid political pressure (Windows not supporting Unicode flags is a good example of this) seems like a bad precedent.
I think it's self censorship but in a different way - they fed it too much internet and so it's super easy to get it to regurgitate garbage, which they DON'T want for important facts? Basically copping to the AI being shit.
