real quick solution, use accurate language. or just shut your mouth
I've been trying to adjust this for years. It's a struggle because you hear it so often, but I keep chipping away at it bit by bit because it's a worthwhile effort

just the other day I called something "stupid" and then immediately corrected myself by saying it was silly.
