Absolutely furious at a doctor to start my day, so that's nice.

Nobody who says "you're not going to get diabetes, that only happens to people who make poor choices" deserves to practice medicine.

Technically speaking it only happens to people who have the probability of diabetes in their genes. Even type 2. (Or in my case 1.5.) It is (or at least that’s why my Diabetes nurse told me at the orientation) a hereditary condition.
