I've been watching some Batman: The Animated Series today, and the quality difference between the TMS episodes, and all the rest is even more striking today than when they were originally broadcast. It makes me wish that WB/Fox hadn't pumped out 60 episodes in a year and chose quality instead.

Brown v. Board, though a progressive decision, was ultimately the first major abnegation of the legislative branch to the judiciary. It should have gone through Congress. This tendency led to abortion rights never being codified (Roe), and regulatory agency powers never being clarified (Chrevon).
