If you're around my age, there's a huge chance you rushed home when you knew Goku was finally turning Super Saiyan on Toonami. It was practically a holiday. Toriyama's art is responsible for countless moments like that across the globe and a large part of why so many of us still lift a pencil.

The other half of my answer is that the problems of climate are bigger systemic problems! Genocide! Dismantling of journalism! Racism! So there are tremendous allies everywhere we look who think those things are bad and should stop. Climate is only lonely if you think those things are no big deal.

The best question i got was "what should we do since justice is important [to us] but it's really baked in?" My answer has evolved to be to work on systemic solutions. I think a lot of people's hopelessness comes from the dissatisfaction with offered solutions to the obvious size of the problem.

Something really significant that stands out to me: Albanese has been PM for 40% of the time Scott Morrison ever was. Honeymoon period ended *a long* time ago. It's time to hold Labor responsible for climate damage enacted under their watch.
