It would seem that I've been clobbered over the head with the onset of arthritis. I've been waking up the last few days with both knees and elbows and one shoulder hurting like hell. It gets better as the day goes by, then starts to hurt after being in bed. Yet to be confirmed by my doctor. =/

Do something, you all. It will fight the existential dread, and you might make a real difference while you're doing it. I get the dread, I really do. But we don't win if we all give up from the beginning. It's a group project. If we each tackle a small bit, it'll add up. Time to work. ✊

This is a really good time if you're not already connected to local groups and organizations organizing around particular issues to find ones in your communities that could use your talents and skills.

Anyone remember the good ol' days when a presidential candidate could be tossed out for shouting "Yee ha!", or misspelling the word "potato" in a school visit?

Head to Head polls with swaths of "undecided" voters make for good newspaper copy and social media talk, but the real race is electoral and on his best day, Trump would have an near impossible time winning this - and his best days are long past him. Go out, vote, and we will win this.

So, do I understand correctly, was the case against trump for stealing the White House documents and having them in his home, thrown out? Is he just getting away with that?

my family is essentially camping out at their home. no electricity, no AC, living from an ice chest (and spending so much money on ice alone) the kids will be starting school soon and it breaks my heart to think they’re still not comfortably set up pls, anything helps 🖤

Having graduated from the University of Northern Iowa 30+ years ago, my wife, son and I went there just to visit the campus and the neighborhood. Turns out EVERYTHING was closed on campus, including the library, union, and the book store. All used to be open on Saturdays in the Summer. =(
