Content of Starmer’s speech. Like a reassuring relative. Calm. Not tribal or triumphalist. Inclusive. Proof is in the eating but the smell from the kitchen is promising.

It’s great that the cabinet has almost 50% women. It’s great that Sir Keir has selected intelligent people who know something about their ministry’s subject be it prisons or science! So often in the last government the minister was lost as soon as the interviewer strayed off the agreed subject.

To Sunak’s credit he stressed peaceful transition and his respect for Starmer as a decent person. Good things to stress. And firmly agree with the tone from Starmer. A lot of plans coming together.

I'm not picking a fight, but does your 'same' mean that you consider 'dogma' and 'doctrine' to be interchangeable words? I don't, (and it's possible that Starmer used doctrine on Saturday, and dogma on Friday) but for me those two words have utterly different connotations. (Maybe different 'vibes')
