I found a well-adored copy of Rumpelstiltskin in the library filed under "Grimm," and I was astounded by the extraordinary detail of @paulozelinsky.bsky.social's artwork. Each page looks like it could hang in The Met, and the visual storytelling is impeccable. It has aged immaculately. #kidlit 📚👍🏼

The Black Book of Colors by Menena Cottin and Rosana Faria features poetry, raised images and Braille to offer readers an array of sensory impressions of color. I took a break from shelving at the library to read it with my eyes open and closed, and it brought me tremendous joy. #kidlit 📚👍

My new made-to-order hand-knitted sweater (thx to my wife) in retro ‘78 brown & orange, paired w/ polkadot denim blue shirt, my superfave retro orange & brown dog tie w/ blunt end, plus the new wooden tie bar I bought on the weekend.
