And for the record purple is the absolute worst team jersey color. Damnit Minnesota don't make me want to root for Boston

Teal's a very bad color, but you at least know you're looking at teal. Purple always reads like black, and everybody uses black

That was for the first year when branding wasn't in place. It will change for the second season.

I think the league came together relatively quickly once the ball got rolling and there just wasn't time to do a full branding exercise for a bunch of teams at once. They have filed trademark applications for a set of names that is probably what they intend to use.

Boston Wicked, Minnesota Superior, Montreal Echo, New York Sound, Ottawa Alert, and Toronto Torch. TBH, I dislike most of these enough to kind of wish they wouldn't bother. And they haven't been announced, just filed for, so they could change.
