Genderqueer Genius's current research is on zoonotic diseases, but their Master's degree research was on wasps. To this day they defend the honor of wasps against all human aversions.

Most wasps are harmless to humans and kinda neat!

And apparently even the nasty aggressive ones are really efficient pollinators, so they've got that going for them.
