Also, people are literally asking players to Venmo them the money they lost on bets.

And all the leagues cashing in. 100% sure that a player from another league will be the one that gets killed by a fan. Then it will happen. Then nothing will change.

I actually don't have anything against sports gambling at all (before moving back to the states - my state basically doesn't allow it still - I made parlay bets on soccer as "this is my lottery"), and it's bad elsewhere, but every single aspect of its implementation in the USA was the worst possible
