I feel like there's some kinds of white collar crime that are like "it would be bad if everyone did this so we have to make a rule against it and enforce it even if each violation doesn't cause a lot of harm" and others are like "stole $2M in tips from the servers at the restaurant he owns..."

For real. Like, I know they need money, but I got a text from a group on behalf of Cori Bush and the only thing they asked was that I tell 3 of my friends that I'm voting for her. It's such a difference to be asked to spread the word, rather than "give us money and we'll take care of it."

Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them. I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.

We talk about Tuberville a lot, but this terrible former UConn quarterback becoming a powerful evil person is way more dystopian. We EXPECT a mediocre Auburn coach to become a GOP sen. But there's no pipeline from "6.1 yards per throw in the Big East" to "professionally entrapping homeless people"

As a side note, this is John McEntee, Trump's Director of White House Personnel and the primary architect of Project 2025. On Tik Tok he said he gives counterfeit bills to homeless people so they will be arrested when they go to spend them.

If you paid attention to Trump's side of the debate, he had the same underlying problem Biden did, where over and over he would start a sentence and realize he couldn't say or remember the words that would come next, but where Biden stalled out, Trump just switched to blurting something unrelated

My guess is that Trump knows very little about P25 *and* it will be the blueprint for his administration. He’s famously bored by policy. He’ll appoint these people because they’re loyal. They’ll then go to work on the plan while he grifts, golfs, and gives two-hour speeches at rallies.
