The whole genre where people make up things Rowling did not do and get mad at them is, I think, a window into what a lot of the criticism is doing this one is just “I thought of something problematic that I find funny so I need to put the words in someone else’s mouth” Her choices also look downright inclusive set next to this, which is only a defense of her choices insofar as you lower the bar here
