As founder of 24 Hour Comics Day, I get much the same -- "is it okay if I do the 24 hour comic on some other day?" -- as well as "is it okay if I use 24 Hour Comics Day to [compost music/write a play/make lots muffins]?" Creators creating is unsurprisingly something I favor.
