A long time ago, a friend convinced me to go help this little con in Albany, NY. If you had asked me if I thought that 26 years later it would be 17,639 attendees with 3300+ fursuits in the parade and raise more than $100k in charity. I would have laughed at you. #anthrocon #anthrocon2024

A solid percentage of my train car’s passengers are furries or Mennonites, except the guy sitting next to me, who is taking everything in good humor.

Other furries on the train from Chicago to Pittsburgh, I saw the fox Telegram sticker on your luggage! Come upstairs and say hi!

Fat furs!—I want to create a space for us to be fully ourselves. Loud and fucking proud. I have a Telegram chat that is a great start, and I’d like to be a little more public and do outreach.

Pride BEGAN during a time of anti-sodomy laws. The first Pride was a riot against those laws. Pride is celebrated around the world in places where it is much more dangerous to be queer than here. Pride is not dependent on being ALLOWED to be who we are, it’s a promise that we WILL be no matter what
