This is such a strange dynamic. GOP members of congress have been giving anonymous quotes about getting threats inspired by Trump for years. Are they willing to go on the record now because it's Jordan?
I didn't post this one yesterday, because it felt less sincere and more like posturing, but for that reason it's interesting to include in the analysis
My guess is that they think the threats related to Jordan come from people close to his camp and that the public doesn't care, while complaining about Trump related threats would just inspire more from random MAGAs?
I will never understand how any Republican with a shred of humanity can stay a Republican after all this shit.
When your own party and voter base are actively threatening the lives of you and yours and it shakes you up enough to speak up, maybe it's time to stop being a Republican.
It feels personal. When you add in the plan by a group of Republicans to slowly have Jordan lose more votes with each round it just feels like political revenge from people who, understandably, don't like him.
People on both sides of the aisle want him gone from congress. He isn't a team player.
Yup. It’s so weird. If Jordan had one on tv and spoken veiled threats that wouldn’t have bothered them maybe? Why do we (people in general) only object to bad behavior when it’s behind closed doors?
