The Social Media Quarterly Tax Payment Distributed Warning System has saved my ass so many times; I try to pay the favor forward!

Got 'em out early, because in April my state payment came back as "not deliverable." Even though the address was 100% what was specified on the payment voucher. I re-sent it and it arrived a couple weeks late. No blow-back AFAIK.

I was SO THRILLED when my state finally built a system to schedule payments via ACH in advance, and even more thrilled that my accountant can now do it for me, heh

I need to check to see if Oregon can do that. But I need to be able to tailor the amounts; my income varies so much!

dangit. time to call my tax person on Monday and see how "I was a contractor in March, FTE in April, and unemployed in May and June" is likely to shake out. (Not an invitation for advice, only a humorously heavy sigh!)

My mom and I do them together--we've decided to stop using checks and pay online instead. She summoned me over to pay them last week, and it only took minutes!

My accountant took over making the payments for me this year and YEEHAWWWWW that makes it so much easier, but I still have one category of tax payments I have to make to the state directly, sigh

oh I am so glad to not be doing those these days

My accountant is doing IRS and state for me but there's still a state tax I have to remember to pay myself because it can't be automated, le sigh
