Oh it certainly is! It starts about 1.2 billion years ago, little red algae in the shallows, through liverwort-like plants at the tide line, coal swamps, Triassic conifer groves, Jurassic floodplains dotted with ginkgoes, and on. I really wanted to mix the familiar and strange throughout.
