If that’s a pitcher plant, it could probably use some extra protein… annoyingly, i haven't seen any sign that the lanternflies are enticed into the pitchers! Interesting. Maybe the lanternflies just need a little nudge… nudges result in sproinging in any direction except into the mouths of the pitchers
typically they are stompable after a few hops Ah. Well, they are planthoppers, I guess. Stomping works, too (basically my method, though I haven’t seen any since I left NJ).
