think this is the last stage before metamorphosing into flying assholes yes, I've already seen one adult this week! I killed so many of them this weekend If that’s a pitcher plant, it could probably use some extra protein… annoyingly, i haven't seen any sign that the lanternflies are enticed into the pitchers! Interesting. Maybe the lanternflies just need a little nudge… nudges result in sproinging in any direction except into the mouths of the pitchers
typically they are stompable after a few hops Ah. Well, they are planthoppers, I guess. Stomping works, too (basically my method, though I haven’t seen any since I left NJ). He looks like he’s doing an impression of Freddie Mercury playing live. i see you smilin
i ain't buyin it's a fourth instar spotted lanternfly nymph, and they are all over the place this yeae Need some mandids in your area.
Clean those things right up.
