the bulk were actual censuses rather than surveys and really more a matter of understanding national income accounts and reading audited financial statements. but was fun to work down across the hall from the employment folks cooking the books for bush *and* obama somehow

Anyway, I think the NYT op-ed roster is set for skeeters for now, which probably is good for you because this is a weaksauce audition you’re turning in today. Maybe regroup, find a weird conspiracy to believe in (they LOVE that), build up the ol’ résumé to try again when a spot opens.
