The opportunity to gently taper off carbon emissions and reduce fossil fuel usage has been and gone. That said, I'd ban crypto and AI in a heartbeat which would drastically reduce global energy usage at a stroke.

Honestly one of my biggest frustrations over Brexit. Just wasting so much time on it, the whole government, when there are much more pressing things to deal with.
