Some good news: two weeks ago, one of my roommates just had gender-affirming surgery at age 58, having come out as nonbinary a few years ago. They also told me about someone they know in their 70s who recently came out as trans. You're never too old. 💖

I have a stalker! He was outside my room when I got up early, came in a bit later and refused to leave, followed me up and downstairs, and peeked at me when I was showering. I thought about calling the police to report him as illegally adorable, but we came to an agreement.

It's so hot today (heat index of 107F/42C) that until after sundown, my bedroom is still stuffy despite my poor little window unit doing its best. Might have to keep Zoro in the fridge again for a couple of days.

Went out to Crane Beach late this afternoon, which was sparsely populated. It was a really nice day, though as usual I lasted about an hour and a half in the sun before I had to leave. WRRRRYYYYYYY!

My bedroom is so hot that after 5 minutes I had to take off my shirt, even with the AC on. Took Zoro downstairs, changed his water and put him in the fridge for a while because I was afraid the heat would make him sad (they don't do well if it's too warm).

A rock I painted for my roommate's dad's grave, at RM's mom's request. I'm gonna paint more rocks for people who've died and make a little indoor garden space, rather than the typical (boring) shrine I have. Gotta collect some beach rocks this summer, I guess.
