Arrived at the cat house to find that while unattended last night, all three had apparently had a grand old time puking all over the kitchen. It was like a minefield. They're fine and the little ones are running around wildly while their big sister has retired away from their tomfoolery.

Today I had brain fog like never before and did not manage to drag myself forth from my room until 1:30 pm. I did get some things done and made chili for me and L this afternoon, though.

I ate the Selfish Crab Dip and have been sitting with the cats on the sofa all day, and I feel somewhat better. The new TV is nice and wasn't a PITA to set up.

So...I have heard through mushroom sicko scuttlebutt that new research has shown that the North American Amanita muscaria is probably not the same species as the Eurasian A. muscaria. Which is kind of blowing my mind, and explains a few things I've experienced, or failed to.

The cattens also have a big sister, who is very sweet and calm and enjoys snuggling.
